& Pilgrim Hall Museum!

Mayflower Passengers poster
A magnificent visual representation of the 102 original Mayflower passengers, arranged in family groupings, followed by a graphic depiction of "the survivors" - those who made it to the "first Thanksgiving."  A wonderfully insightful rendering that shows the true impact of the first winter and what the loss of half the Mayflower passengers meant to this little community.
Cost: $19.95
The poster is 24" x 36"
and is packaged in a sturdy mailing tube.

New from the Pilgrim Society for teachers and parents!

The Pilgrims & the Fur Trade:
A curriculum unit for grades 5-7.
Published in cooperation with the General Society of Mayflower Descendants
47 single-sided pages, punched and packaged in shrink-wrap with its own 3-ring binder.
Cost: $10
Students will learn how the laws of supply and demand affected the early American colonial economy as they follow the process from raw materials (beaver skins) to the finished goods (expensive English-made beaver hats) with activities such as brainstorming on economic issues, discussing readings from 17th century authors, creating skits, writing short essays, solving math problems and designing their own currency.
All the activities, plus the additional enrichment and challenge exercises, are based on primary sources of 17th century Plymouth Colony.
